COLTON BERRETT, TEENAGER SUFFERING MASSIVE HEALTH ISSUES AFTER HPV SHOT, TAKES HIS LIFE
Colton Berrett: March 13, 2000 – January 5, 2018
In January, the world lost another beautiful soul because of the HPV vaccine Gardasil. Colton Berrett left this world because of complications from the HPV shot – GARDASIL that he received two years ago. Right after the shot, he developed transverse myelitis, – inflammation around the central nervous system which causes partial paralysis.
Gardasil has NEVER been proven to prevent ANY cancer. In fact, it’s only a theory that HPV even causes cervical cancer. And boys do not have cervixes. So why did he get the shot? Because vaccine makers refuse to give up any potential market for their product, so now the company is pushing it for boys with health claims that have never been proven.
Colton died just two months shy of his 18th birthday. He should have been heading to college and enjoying the last of his teenage years instead of suffering to line the pockets of pharmaceutical companies like Merck, the maker of the Gardasil vaccine that killed Colton – and the ex-employer of Learn The Risk founder Brandy Vaughan.
Merck should be charged with MURDER for lying about the safety and (lack of) effectiveness of this vaccine and for causing the deaths of hundreds of children.
People should be going to jail, not cashing big checks as they watch children suffer and die because of their lies.
Rest In Peace, Colton. You are now watching over us, shining your light bright on those of us fighting for justice for you and the other children whom you followed into the light.
RIP Colton. We will NEVER stop fighting for you.
Colton was administered the third round of the Gardasil, HPV Vaccine on February 1, 2014. By Monday, February 17, 2014, Colton was almost completely paralyzed and spent months in the hospital. Colton was healthy and active before he received the HPV Vaccine Gardasil. Colton suffered a severe adverse reaction and vaccine injury – called transverse myelitis – to the Gardasil vaccine and was partially paralyzed.
Colton was originally diagnosed with Acute Longitudinal Transverse Myelitis; C1 through T-12 were affected (Cervical-1 through Thoracic-12). The inflammation in his spinal cord caused the paralysis which started in his neck and full right arm. His left arm was starting to lose function and become paralyzed. Colton was also having difficulty breathing, so intubation and a ventilator were needed. Paralysis continued spreading throughout his body and it was not too long before Colton lost his speech ability. He was able only to communicate using the “thumbs up or thumbs down” method, but that was soon halted due to loss of movement in his thumbs. Colton’s new reality included daily therapy to avoid infection and pneumonia, irregular temperature regulation, hot/cold packs for the spikes and drops in temperature, being uncomfortable with a cervical collar, and all this with a 15-pound ventilator/breathing machine. His family referred to this as his “ball and chain.”

In many countries, including France, India and Spain, there are criminal lawsuits against Merck for serious health issues as a result of the Gardasil vaccine. In Japan, after thousands of girls were affected by severe side effects, the Japanese government no longer recommends the vaccine.
But in the U.S., parents are being pressured, even bullied, into giving this vaccine to their children. Why? Because it is a $2 BILLION/year blockbuster for Merck, with part of the profits going to the NIH, a branch of the government.
Do we value multi-billion dollar corporations more than we value our children, their health and their future? Let’s not forget that due to the historic National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, vaccine makers have zero liability and full immunity from the injuries, damage, and deaths that occur from their products. If vaccines are so safe, why are they federally protected from lawsuits?
