Nevaeha: Medically kidnapped at two days old
We sadly announce another story of medical kidnapping — where the medical system acts like the judge and jury of parents who challenge or question their orders.
When did hospitals, nurses and doctors gain so much control over our lives? What gives them the authority to interfere with parenting choices?
Another story of a child being taken away from its loving mother out of spite . . .
On June 10, 2018, at 4:35 am Nevaeha was born
Jemima Jones gave birth to Nevaeha on June 10, 2018, at 4:35 am at Thunderbird Medical Center.
The hospital claims the mother used Marijuana, despite the testing coming back negative.
On June 12, 2018, at 2:30 am she was taken from her mother
The child was ripped away from the mother’s arms at 12:30 am on June 12, 2018, while she was breastfeeding the child. She was denied the ability to breastfeed or hold her child again.
On June 12, 2018, at 3 pm her mother was escorted out of the hospital
The mother was escorted out of the hospital with armed guards around 3 pm and was not allowed to hold her baby before leaving. The hospital and Department of Child Services (CPS) refused to provide written reasoning, medical records, discharge papers and any other paperwork to the mother. They also refused to provide a patient advocate upon the mother’s request, which is illegal.
The police department refuses to file a report despite it being illegal
Glendale Police Department was contacted at 1 pm on June, 2018, to file an incidence report. This was refused, even though they admit that what the hospital was doing was against the law.
Hospitals and CPS can do whatever they want — apparently they are above the law, and the police will back them, despite these parents pointing out how the hospital was operating outside of the law (by providing no reason or paperwork for their baby being taken).
Unfortunately, we are hearing more and more of these stories. Please help reunite the family by taking action and being loud TODAY!
Please help Jemima Jones get her baby back!!!!
Please contact local media and law makers. Ask them to make sure that Jemima and Nevaeha are reunited as soon as possible and that the case workers are fired and prosecuted for child kidnapping.
Let them know that you are an advocate for human rights and that your friend is being separated from her baby at this hospital based upon a false allegation of a failed stool test for marijuana. The mom and the baby both passed a blood test.
There was a similar story back in 2015 from the same hospital, CPS was threatening to take the baby were not given for no reason
Arizona has the highest rate of highest rate of children leaving biological parents and being placed into the foster care system of any other state in the US
